A 50+ Relationship MOT is a new brief couple intervention devised by Tavistock Relationships to promote resilience in couples during the transition to retirement, via face to face and online counselling. How can Couple 50+ help you?

By:

  • Offering a safe space to begin to think about the transition to retirement
  • Allowing you to address the issues emerging from facing this transition
  • Supporting you to draw on your strengths and resources in working towards your future together

Who is it for?

If you and your partner are approaching retirement and would like to think about this and are aged 50 and over then this service is for you.

What’s involved if we join?

Once you have enrolled, you and your partner will meet with therapist Chloe Goddard Mcloughlin for an initial meeting lasting about an hour. If by the end of the initial meeting, we agree that this approach could be helpful, I will offer up to three further meetings,  You will also be asked to complete questionnaires at the start and end of the intervention.
